An 8 year old child did this in school as an art project. Mom wanted to save this so asked if we could create something fun.  We double matted the peice and made it look like it was sitting on a table.  the top yellow undermat is cut so it points to the flowers.  the bottom pale green pulls out the green in the vase.  It really works well together.

This art work had a little more part in it.  This made it more interesting to match colors. But the mat design immitates the design in the project itself.  The 'Z' type on the top sections almost appear as quotes for the artowrk.  The child was very surprised when whe opened it for her birthday, she thought her mom got rid of it. It is fun working with kids stuff.
